All voters go into a draw where one lucky winner will win a trip for two to the United States of America. Delta Air Lines have sponsored two return air tickets and three nights of accommodation for two people sharing in Florida (choice of Miami / Fort Lauderdale / Tampa / Orlando). In addition, the winner will win two tickets to the MTN Radio Awards gala dinner and a smartphone with R500 airtime (Terms and Conditions Apply).

The "My Station" categories gives listeners the opportunity to vote for their favourite stations via SMS. Due to stations having huge disparity in audience numbers there are two categories within the My Station Awards: The Most Votes and The Most Loyal Listeners. The former is simply a function of the total number of votes a station can generate and the latter is determined by the ratio of votes over the number of listeners to the station (according to the February 2014 RAMS).
